Meeting Minutes Fri, 01-22-2010
I. Call to order
Marcus called to order the regular meeting of the Bouldering Garden Volunteers and Members, of Columbia, Missouri (MO), Rock Climbing Gym, (573) 474-4997, at 5:30pm on 01-22-2010 in the office of the Bouldering Garden rock climbing temple designed for those desiring, seeking, and willing to commit.
II. Roll call
Andy Mearz conducted a roll call. The following persons were present: Eli Danner, Marcus Floyd, John Grotts, David Soucie, Taylor Donahue, and Andy Mearz.
III. Approval of minutes from last meeting
Andy Mearz read the minutes from the last meeting. The minutes were approved as read.
IV. Open issues
a) New Climbing Wall Construction in Columbia, MO: steep 60 foot overhanging climbing wall route options
b) Selling and the removal of unused storage items
c) Purchase new holds, design a mega-feature for climbing roof, and texture wall
d) Thanksgiving travels to Hueco Tanks, Joshua Tree, and skydiving Eloy, AZ
e) & Perris Valley, CA drop zone wind tunnels
f) New Years in Chicago, Il, and wedding event: reimbursement of facilitators
g) Winter Break Special Columbia Rock Climbing Gym, MO, Membership special 3 months for $99 offered 12-15 to 01-15, call now: 573-474-4997

b) Review Basic and Advance rock climbing class teaching techniques: covering movement technique, knots, rope management, and goal oriented rock climbing training: Climbing Wall Prep for class work
c) Spring Break Rock Climbing and whitewater Kayaking trip to Red River Gorge, KY & New River Gorge, WV: Travel, Dates, and rock climbing route goals
