Student Climbing Club Members Get Discount
Wednesday nights at the Bouldering Garden, a rock climbing gym in Columbia, MO, Mizzou, Columbia College, MU student climbing club members get a special discounted gym pass between 6 pm and 9 pm. If you have any questions, just give them a call. (573) 489-4997
If you are tired of doing pull-ups at home, drop in the bouldering gym and shred with your friends every Wednesday evening between 6 pm - 9 pm. The Bouldering Garden sponsors the MU Climbing Club by providing an addition discount for member of the student climbing group. The Wednesday pass is roughly the same price as a student priced movie ticket, if you pay by the day. Marcus encourages students to take advantage of the additional saving of the monthly membership options. If a climbing club member can get enough of the rock'n workout, then they can save some real cash just by purchasing 30 days, or more, of rock climbing gym membership. Remember, if you have not been to "The Garden" then you do not know what you are missing.

Camping in the Garden 2011
Bouldering at The Bouldering Garden offers many sudents to opportunity to meet up with other weekend travelers that are looking to climb and camp around the central Midwest. Some of the most popular crags include HCR, in northern Arkansas, J-Falls, in Southern Il, and many climbing areas right here in central Missouri.
While Elephant Rocks is a bouldering destination, the highest concentration of sport routes, in Missouri, can be found along the Missouri River, near Columbia, and along the Osage River drainage system.
Climbing around central Missouri still seems to be a well kept secret, despite the guides books published between 1979 and 1999.

Climbing Club Adventure
The Bouldering Garden offers a limited seating to monthly members looking to absorb the colorful beauty of the Red River Gorge while taking advantage of the wide diversity of climbing routes that it has to offer. The club trip is planned for an extended weekend around the turning of the leaves. Call the Garden to ask about reserving your spot this fall.
2010 Red River Reunion
The MU rock climbing club's spring break trip is sponsored by the Bouldering Garden (aka: Columbia's Rock Climbing Gym, Missouri MO) and headed to 'The Red'. Red River Gorge, KY is known for steep sandstone sport routes and friendly climbers. Evolv is sold by the Bouldering Garden's pro shop and will be hosting a sponsored event called the 'Red River Reunion' on March 27th.

The Mu Climbing Club now meets at the Bouldering Garden indoor rock climbing facility on Wednesday evenings between 6:30pm and 8:30pm as of Jan 1st of 2010. The cost per club member is a discounted club rate per month or a $5 fee per club meeting. Drop by and check out the bouldering gym.
